Charlie Brown is a character in the Peanuts comic strip created by Charles Schulz. He was voiced through most of the animated TV specials (1971–1980). He is usually depicted as a friendless, naive red-bearded kid. In one strip, Lucy says of him “His head’s so empty that there’s not enough room inside for his brain,” she goes on to say he has been compared in intelligence to an infant who has just learned how to roll over.
